Lost to the Ice

(This could be spoilerific if you haven't seen the movie so you've been warned)

I must be a masochist. It's the only explanation as to why I'd do this to myself.

I ALMOST CRIED DRAWING THIS ONE OKAY.

But seriously, has anyone thought of how Jack's sister would have reacted after he fell into the ice? I mean she'd be horrified wouldn't she?? I tried so hard to get the right expression on her face but I'm not sure if I did it as well as it could have been done...

Also if you'll notice, the tips of her fingers in the water are so cold they're turning white, but she doesn't even notice, she's too busy hoping desperately that her brother will reach out and grab them.

At least I got some new colouring style practice. I've seen other artists colour like this and I thought I'd give it a shot, it was fun, I think I'll do more... but with less depressing pictures.
